Bio
Calvin Thomas is a singer-songwriter currently in Maryland and loves to make music. He is also a livestream loop artist, a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and mixing engineer. One of his favorite things to do is to record and mix tracks and is still learning so many things along the way. He's released a single A Better Day (2016); a 7-song (and later 10-song) album October Sky in 2018 and later 2019; a single "It's The Little Things" and a 4-song EP “The Rush” both in 2019; a 4-song EP called "The Livestream Sessions" in 2021; "Elements" in July 2022; “Home” in August 2023; and his current song “Movement” in June 2024.
He is currently working on new music - stay tuned to find out more!
He has played wedding venues as early as 2010, first playing with his father and then venturing solo into that realm, and has played a variety of gigs, such as The Mansion on O Street in Washington DC. He has also played farmers markets since 2016, playing markets in Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
But he really hit his stride when he ventured into live streaming, with the Periscope app being the biggest live stream medium for his music as well as his growth as a musician and a person. He would broadcast on there 2-3 times a week, playing music for viewers domestically and internationally, such as Sweden and Japan. This platform also allowed him to meet and perform with musicians from a variety of places and to also collaborate online. He later streamed on Twitch for 7 years, taking his music and community to the next level. He currently streams on Youtube @CalvinThomasMusicGO in 2025. He currently streams Wednesdays and Sundays (that is, until further notice - more days could be coming soon!) If you can, hop on over to the streams!
